Japan's benchmark stock indices ended Friday's session narrowly mixed, slipping from session highs late in the day. The benchmark Nikkei 225 was 33.74 points, or 0.24%, higher at 14012.20. The broader-based TOPIX was 2.98 points lower at 1376.69.
