Japan's benchmark stock indices ended Monday's session higher across the board, as the strengthening dollar helped fuel an afternoon rally. The benchmark Nikkei 225 was higher by 101.60 points, or 0.71%, at 14440.14. The broader-based TOPIX was higher by 16.96 points at 1425.10.
