Japan's benchmark stock indices ended Thursday's session sharply lower, as global stock markets continue to suffer inflationary jitters. The benchmark Nikkei 225 was down 294.88 points, or 2.08%, at 13888.60. The broader-based TOPIX was lower by 26.89 points at 1363.14.
