Mizuho economist Steven Ricchiuto says details of employment report were as weak as the headline of -159,000 jobs. He says "the job losses were broad based" and "the only reason the jobless rate did not rise was a downward adjustment in the number of worker counted as in the labor force. The monthly jobs data imply a another month of disappointing industrial production, capacity utilization, and personal income."
