Some providers block network packets on port 443 or carry out unconditional sending of such packages on own http proxy servers. This usually happens in offices with local network.
It is inadmissible for successful work of program TeleTRADER v.4. The solution for this is individual in each case and consists of making an agreement with your provider for required traffic.
Beside that, the 443 port might be blocked by your local brandmauer (in case of using Windows XP) or by your corporate brandmauer of your local network. In both cases this problems should be solved by your local system administrator.
If you wish to check if there is an access to the trading server you should follow steps below:

• Through menu File Open an account
  
• Fill in all the fields
• press Next
• The next window press Scan
• If you see the N/A sign in the Ping column, this means that the terminal failed to connect with the server. This could mean that you are not connected to the internet or the 443 port is blocked; in case there is some figures in that field the connection attempt was successfull
• press Cancel button

This problem may arise in two cases.

• If you login to your trading account with the investor password. This password is read-only and does not allow you to trade. You have to relogin with the trader password.
• There is a problem with your account. To get more information you have to write an official notice in your Personal Page or receive help in your local office.

Master password or investor password can be changed through your trading platform TeleTRADER.
In order to do so you have to enter the Tools menu and select Options.
In the Options window select Servers page and press Change button.
Attention! In order to provide security of your account the passwords should be complex enough: not less than 5 symbols and these should be at least of two types: figures, capital or small letters!

Throgh the main menu of the trading platform TeleTRADER: File Open an account, fill in all fields, check the "I agree to subscribe to your newsletters", press the Next button. In the next window press the Next button.
At the last step you will receive a login number for your new demo account and two passwords: master and investor.

Click on the right button of your mouse in the Market Watch window and choose Symbols from the menu. In the symbols window you will be able to make all arrangements concerning all of the trading instruments available for your account.

You don’t have to indicate the server – the program will automatically locate the server if you have downloaded it from our website. The only requirement is: you must not turn off the option: “Data Center auto configuration”. It is on by default.

This is normal. Some of the news coming to your terminal do not contain any other information and consist only from the header.

Marginal maintenance for hedged positions is represented in USD and is equal to 1000 units of main currency.
For example: for hedged position on the GBP/USD pair at a price of GBP/USD 1.8400 the marginal requirement will be equal to 1000 * 1,8400 = 1840 US dollars.

TeleTRADER v.4 would not work on the Windows OS older than Windows 98 and Windows NT older than version 4).
TeleTRADER will work on the OS like Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP and Windows Vista.
